CONGRATULATIONS!!!
YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE BRC
You are now eligible for a motorcycle endorsement. In order to obtain your motorcycle endorsement, you must go to your local DMV office with proper identification (see list below) and have the motorcycle endorsement added to your Driver's License.
Please be advised that until such time, it is illegal for you to ride a motorcycle or scooter on public roads. Understand that you are NOT licensed to operate a motorcycle on public roads until you visit your local DMV office to have your license endorsed. The completion card issued IS NOT a permit or license and MAY NOT be used as such, as clearly disclaimed on its face.
Your completion card is valid for (1) year from the date of issuance. In the event you fail to have the endorsement added to your license within one (1) year from the date of completion of this course, you will be required to retake the Basic RiderCourse at your own expense.
Please understand that it is your responsibility to store your completion card in a safe and secure place. Neither MSF, FRTP or Learn 2 Ride retain copies of the cards issued. As such, we recommend you make a copy of your card as soon as it is issued to you, and store it along with other important documents such as your birth certificate, social security card and passport.
Please remember, the Basic RiderCourse was designed to provide you with instruction on basic motorcycle operation, and to expose you to ways to ride more safely. However, it is ultimately YOUR responsibility to operate your motorcycle safely. Learn 2 Ride, Motorcycle Safety Foundation, and Florida Rider Training Program will not assume responsibility for the safe operation of your motorcycle.
